Our Qualifications
Timothy Holt, whose specialty is financial planning, has been assisting individuals in or near retirement since 1989. His entire team is dedicated to preserving assets so they will be there when needed. Tim has been a radio personality providing financial education on several radio stations. Various magazines and newspapers have published his work, and he is a frequent lecturer to several groups on topics such as protecting financial assets and estate planning, reducing taxes, asset allocation, and simplifying financial affairs. Tim is a real “retiree” advocate whose goal is to help his clients make informed decisions that will provide them with the financial resources they need to enjoy their "Golden Years." Tim was instrumental in forming the North County Senior Network in his community.
Tim is the President of Preservation Capital Group, LLC. In addition, his insurance agency, Value Health & Life Insurance Services, has locations up and down California's Central Coast. He is the Branch Manager for the Atascadero office of Madison Avenues Securities, Inc., and is currently serving on the Advisory Board for his Securities’ Firm. He holds the following securities registrations: General Securities Principal and Limited Municipal Securities Principal. Tim is also a member of several industry associations including the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA), the National Association of Christian Financial Consultants (NACFC), and the National Ethics Bureau (NEB).
Tim, his wife Jeanette, and their five children, live in San Luis Obispo County. All are actively involved in their church and community. Tim’s community involvement includes: Past Board of Directors Central Coast First Tee, Past President of the South Pasadena/San Marino Y's Men's Club, Past Lieutenant Governor of Y's Men's International, Past President of Templeton Kiwanis Club, and Member of the American Red Cross Disaster Action Team. When not busy at the office, with his family, or helping the community, Tim enjoys golf and makes every effort to get out and play once a week.
